News update 1/14/08
 
Special thanks to everyone who came out to the finals of the LUBYPALLOZZA!  Also special thanks to LUBY'S and the band HOTBOX!  With all of your support we are glad to say that we are the grand final winners of LUBYPALLOZZA 08.  We won $1,000 cash and 12 hours of recording time @ TREE SOUND STUDIOS in Atlanta.  Please be patient while we are in transition from our previous name of FROGLODGE to our new name FLI.  We've had a lot of questions about the name change and here is our latest blog from our myspace page.  Until then we have 3 more shows till we hit the studio with DIAMOND PRODUCTIONS to record our 1st full length album with our new name.  We have all the songs written for it and just polishing them up before mid Feb when we will begin recording it with an expected April 08 release date.  As always thanks for all the support and check our myspace page for new updates until the new site is up and running..........
 
BLOG ON OUR NAME CHANGE!
 
You may have noticed that we have changed our name to FLI.  It was a tough decision, to break ties with a name that we've had since 1996.  Our sound has evolved over the years and so have the members.  We are excited to say that we will be hitting the studio in Feb of  08 to record a full length album, featuring our newest members, Dustin and Charlie.  It will be 5 - 7 brand new songs never recorded along with a re-recording of the current songs on our playlist.  It's going to take a while for everyone to get use to the new name so our myspace will still be www.myspace.com/thebandfli.  And our main site www.froglodge.com will still be running for several months.  Thanks for all of the support and keep an eye out for a Spring release along with some very cool new merchindise.  later......FLI
